Dal Makhani Recipe – How to Make?

Materials

  • 500 gr green lentils
  • 100 g kidney beans
  • 100 g butter
  • 75 ml cream
  • 125 g tomato puree
  • 25 g of ginger
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 10 gr garam masala
  • 20 gr red pepper
  • Salt

RECİPE

  • Clean and mince the garlic. Soak green lentils and kidney beans in water for eight hours. Change the water and boil the lentils.
  • When it is cooked, take it from the stove and pass it through the water. Add ginger and chopped garlic and boil again. Cook the lentils thoroughly over low heat.
  • Saute the minced garlic in a pan. Add ground red pepper and tomato puree. Saute a few more minutes and remove from the stove.
  • Add the mixture and butter to the lentils and cook for another 15 minutes. Finally, add cream and garam masala. Serve, garnish with chopped fresh coriander.
